Somatic healing is really about helping the body process and clear out stress hormones. When we go through something stressful or traumatic, our system floods with hormones like cortisol and adrenaline—getting us ready to fight, flee, or freeze. It’s an automatic survival response. But once the moment has passed, our body needs a way to release all that buildup. That’s where the lymphatic system comes in. If our drainage and detox pathways aren’t open, all that junk just lingers, keeping us stuck in cycles of stress. Supporting the body’s natural flow and innate wisdom is key.
